I have been really busy (and yes, been studying for many many years).

Your argument that the Name of the Almighty was only spoken by the High Priest is flawed. It has become a Rabbinic tradition that it was not spoken, but this tradition has no historic or Scriptural origin.

Also, your premise that Y’hoshua (that is how yud hey vav shin ayin is pronounced) was not a High Priest is a little flawed. According to the “New Testament” he is the High Priest (Go read the book of Hebrews).

So, as you can see, Boaz was wrong. Also, if you carried on reading the article, you would have seen many more errors that Boaz taught.Davidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15901713962264613812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-314707738780580088.post-27066444854383801162016-08-28T20:39:14.091+02:002016-08-28T20:39:14.091+02:002011 is a long time ago so that has given you whil...2011 is a long time ago so that has given you while to study. After your first three examples of why we can use G-d's name I stopped reading. Boaz is correct. Yeshua (not yejoshua) would not have spoken G-d's name because it was only spoken by the High Priest (which He was not) and only on Yom Kippor. By telling people the Proper name of His Father it would have tempted them to use it in vain which is a sin. Hebrews 2 as well as John 17 examples were taken completely out of context. Neither time was the writer speaking about G-d's "name" but as a generalization. "I will tell of your name" does not mean "I will tell them the proper way to pronounce your name". Instead it means "I will tell of you". When I "make a name for myself" does that mean that I literally made a new name? No. It means by my actions people will know me. This is what is meant in Hebrews 2:12. John 17 was a prayer Yeshua was praying as He spoke to His Father. 17:6 "I have manifested your name to the people" means He has displayed or showed who G-d was through His (Yeshua's) actions. Seeing Yeshua is seeing G-d.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-314707738780580088.post-34854806964785959462011-09-19T15:49:36.254+02:002011-09-19T15:49:36.254+02:00Thanks BJay for your comment... I too pray that Boaz repents and follows the Word of YHWH.

Just one thing I would like to mention is that Boaz never taught that Yehoshua did not wear tzitzit, but rather taught that we do not have to wear tzitzit as the Messiah did.

Thanks for your comment and ShalomDavidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15901713962264613812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-314707738780580088.post-38739185424277711142011-09-19T14:01:28.889+02:002011-09-19T14:01:28.889+02:00Wow that is very amazing to hear. As far as Yahshua not wearing tzit tzit, in Matthew 9:20, the woman with the issue of blood touched the "hem" or the kraspedon which in Hebrew would be the kanaph, the border which holds the tzit tzit of His garment. Mr. Boaz was again incorrect.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13720485138260108985noreply@blogger.com
